The Physics Laboratory
The Department considers practical work as a very important part of the curriculum. The Physics labs will present, you the students, with the opportunity to gain insight into some of the basic principles of physics. The lab exercises are setup to allow you to gather data, analyze the data using the principles of the assigned topic, to obtain quantified results, and then for you to evaluate the results to determine if the principles are sound. It is our hope that these labs will aid you to gain a better understanding of the covered material.
The Physics Laboratory aim to train students in laboratory skills such as:
· Assembling and operating apparatus
· Following and recording experimental procedures
· Taking and interpreting data
· Determination of experimental uncertainties
· Presenting the results of an experiment in a written report.
The Chemistry Laboratory
The department of Chemistry has an excellent teaching programme. The department offers laboratory and theory core courses covering basic concepts in various sub-disciplines of chemistry (physical, inorganic, organic). the Department of Chemistry in a couple of years has grown into a major center for teaching and research in Chemical Sciences. The department of chemistry constitutes one such center for academic excellence. Since its inception, the department has been engaged in imparting the highest level and quality of academic education. One of our key missions is to generate bulk human resource of unmatchable quality and recognition. The department is adequately equipped with the latest instruments known and required to carry out modern day chemistry. The students are provided a comprehensive practical exposure to the various instrumental techniques required for their research. A team of highly qualified faculty are the backbone of the Department.
Zoology Lab
The college has a spacious internet equipped Zoology laboratory to conduct practicals in basic Zoology. Moreover, the laboratory has all the necessary infrastructure and equipment to conduct practicals in the field of Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Ecology, Bioinformatics etc. In addition to the laboratory there is a large Museum well stocked with invertebrate and vertebrate specimens.
Botany Lab
Botany Laboratory is well equipped with compound and Dissecting microscopes enough for each student to individually use it in class. In addition there are research microscopes for magnification to observe detail structure of microorganisms. autoclave hi-speed centrifuge for specific experiments for undergraduate level. Botany laboratory is also supplemented by Museum which has specimens of plant and fossils, 3-D models and charts to understand structure of various bio-molecules and plants respectively used regularly in practical classes.
GEOGRAPHY LAB
Geography lab is designed to kindle the interest of the students and develop critical faculties concerning people’s relationship with the environment. The lab is important because it leads the student’s ideas from general to specific. It is also an integral part of the course because it gives them hands on experience.
OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE
To introduce students to the fundamental Earth-system processes including the radiation budget, energy flows through food webs, biological evolution and fundamentals of ecosystem structure and function
To introduce the students about basic geographical concepts of landforms, climates, minerals, soils and water resources.
To give the students comprehensive idea about the development and distribution of the physical environment, regional patterns formed by environmental patterns and processes, and human utilization of the physical environment.
This laboratory satisfies the physical science laboratory requirement.
To give the students ideas about historical development of environmental problems through the combined lenses of geography, cognate disciplines and the notion of paradigms.

Psychology Laboratories:
The college is maintaining Psychology Laboratory practically teach students the basic concepts of psychology. The laboratory maintains various types equipment as per standard set by N.C.T.E. Tests are conducted on various behavior patterns, which the students might not have confronted before, Psychology, especially is one of the most essential part of our lives, which predominates behaviors. Learning the techniques of determining is done in the laboratory.
